The Privilege of being called the Children of God

2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Sometimes it is easy to believe that worrying makes things better. The truth is, worry only makes things worse. The bible says that we should cast our cares unto the Lord because He cares for us.
When you face despair, pain, and fear, you cannot see the future clearly. All you need is an encounter with the Lord.

How do you encounter the Lord in your secret place? Humble yourself and go before the Lord in prayer.
God is the One who has the power to take your mess and fix it for His Glory.
It is logical to come to the Lord after cleaning up your act. But God is not logical. He wants you to come to Him exactly as you are; He has the power to clean up your mess.

God is interested in the truth, your truth. No matter how ugly that truth is, He can draw you close and embrace you without judging you. No matter how messy a situation looks, if you humbly trust the Lord with the situation, He can change your situation for good.
