Blessed to Conquer
Blessed to Conquer
Roman 8:37-39
Know, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord..
None of the troubles of this life, from poverty to addiction to despair, can separate us from the love of God displayed on the cross at Calvary.
God proved His love for humanity when Jesus died on the cross. If you were the only person that existed on the earth, the Lord would have still sent Jesus to die on the cross because you are a pearl of great price. You are the apple of God’s eye.
God does not become impatient or weary with waiting for you. Daily the Lord waits for you to come to Him.
Look at the story of the prodigal son in the bible:
The son went away of his own accord and squandered all that he had. After he had blown all he had, he remembered the nature of His father. He remembered that even the servants of his father were better cared for than he was. He decided to return home.
When he was far off, his father left his palace and ran to meet the son halfway. Then he put a robe on him and a signet ring and killed the fatted calf to welcome him home.
In the same way, the Lord waits for you daily with arms wide open. He waits for you to acknowledge Him. He longs for you to talk to Him. He wants you to spend time with Him daily praising, worshiping, and basking in His love. The nature of the Father towards you is love. God loves you so much and wants the best for you.
God often invites you to speak to Him. The Father is delighted when you pour out your heart to Him. He is ecstatic when you sing to Him; He loves to hear the sound of your voice. He will not be angered if you pour out your frustrations and ask for His help about the things that trouble you.
When someone hurts you so bad that you cannot see what lies ahead, you can pour out pain and toxicity by journaling or praying. You can write out “Dear God” letters. You can believe in faith that the requests will become testimonies. As you cast your cares on Him, you will receive the strength to run the race of life and be victorious.
